About

Romantically wild florals!

At Georgina Chapman Flowers we are inspired by nature and a love of colour. We like to create pieces that are personal to you, whether that’s a grand floral statement or a thoughtful bouquet for a friend. We choose UK-grown blooms throughout the English season and use the best suppliers here and abroad to create florals that elevate your day.

Hi There, I'm George

I’ve always been a creative soul. At 18 I was pursuing a career in set design at the Brit Performing Art School (The Brits for short) but flowers called me. I started working in florist shops and then developed into an event florist. Working freelance for event companies, producing floral displays for everything from London Fashion Week to Presidential palaces, often internationally.

Apart from a brief departure into the music industry, flowers have not only been my working life but also my passion. For seven years I’ve been lucky enough to follow this passion into my own business and create wonderful designs for my lovely clients.

As a freelance florist, you’re asked to work in numerous styles for these commissions. – with all this experience I’ve now been able to create my own aesthetic.

When I’m not in my flower studio creating, I’m often outside – dog walking, digging the allotment or talking flowers with my local grower Mary. A lover of espresso martinis and tea, a mum to my precious human and a new Goldie puppy.

I love creating bold installations, full of colour that really bring a special element your guests will remember. When I see flowers growing naturally and how they compete for light and space, there’s a balance that’s created. I use this as my inspiration to help me form the essence of my floral style.

George is the perfect supplier! Though it doesn’t feel right to call her that. From the first moment we met, we loved her – she felt like a friend instantly and we were so excited that she’d be a part of our wedding day.

The process was really enjoyable and felt so easy, our calls always included lots of laughing!

She was able to create floral pieces that could be moved from the church to the reception so we could enjoy them for the whole day and evening, and the garland across our sweetheart table and the large displays on the tables were simply beautiful. Not to mention all the other special touches, such as bouquets, buttonholes, sill arrangements, flowers for the cake and our hair, and petal confetti.
