We understand that planning a loved one’s passing can be a very sad and emotional time. We are here to listen sensitively to your requests and offer guidance if you require it. George and the team have been honoured to create some beautiful work for families in the past. We believe our sensitive approach and thoughtful florals will help you put your trust in us.

Things to Consider

Often it is better to meet in person to discuss your floral arrangements but we can also chat over the phone if that is more comfortable. Alternatively, you can order directly below or from the shop tab.

Florals

You may have a special flower, a favourite bloom from the garden, or a colour you wish to include. We will work with you to create a floral tribute that is entirely thoughtful and personal.

Styles

There are many ways to create a personal tribute. You may choose a more traditional heart, cross or pillow but often a simple floral spray, with flowers grown locally can make an equally fitting funeral piece.

Eco-Friendly Funeral

If you’re having an eco-friendly funeral or woodland burial, there are ways of creating environmentally sustainable farewell flowers, without using products that aren’t biodegradable. We work closely with our local grower and use her blooms wherever possible; this all helps lower our impact on the environment.

Card Messages

It’s always best to take your time when deciding what to write on your card. You may wish to prepare your message before we talk but alternatively I can give you blank cards to take away with you, so you can consider the words in the comfort of your own home.

Planning

Some of the more complex and larger designs do take longer to create, so it’s important that you order earlier for these items. It’s also useful for us to have the details of the funeral as soon as you know them; that way it’s all in place. The contact details of your funeral directors, along with when and where the service is taking place will be needed too.

Payment

Payment can be made via our website or by BACS transfer. We require full payment when you place your order please.

Delivery

On the day of the funeral your tributes will be delivered at the time specified by your director. We will have liaised with them prior to the service. Typically the funeral director or a residential address is the preferred delivery option. Delivery to a place of worship or crematorium isn’t recommended as there is often no one available to receive the order.

Casket Florals

Sometimes families will decide they would like their loved one’s casket fully decorated with flowers and personal messages.

George takes great pride and care, to ensure every detail is looked after. We will arrive at the funeral director’s at an arranged time and respectfully dress the casket prior to leaving for the service.
